The Applied Power Electronics Conference (APEC) prides itself as the "premier global event in power electronics," and rightly so. This 38th edition of APEC, running from March 19 to 23 in Orlando, represents an in-person coming-out party of sorts, as the conference, like the rest of society, continues its rebound from the pandemic. Lots of interesting new items are peppering the exhibits; this media gallery presents a sampling:

  • 3.3-V Integrated Voltage Regulators Touted as World's Fastest and Smallest
  • Integrated GaN-on-Si Half-Bridge Comprises Two 100-V HEMTs and Driver
  • Power-Control ICs Take GaN Integration to Next Level
  • 1200-V IGBTs Bring Efficiency to Fast-Switching Industrial Apps
  •  Reference Design Yields GaN-Based, 11-kW/800-V On-Board Chargers for EVs
