The CSI 500-FX and CSI 500F-FXW series of compact, industrial quality dc/ac inverters from Absopulse deliver 500VA pure sine wave output voltage.
This new generation of high frequency PWM inverters employ a new design topology and semiconductor technology that simplify the inverter circuitry and enable compact construction on a single PCB at a more competitive price than previous versions of the same output power.
The CSI 500F-FXW series converts 24V, 36V, 48V or 125Vdc to 115Vac or 230Vac continuous output. They are cooled by high quality built-in fans and have a 185 x 66 x 358 mm total footprint. The CSI 500-FX series accepts a 125Vdc (105-145V range) and delivers 230Vac at 50Hz. They are convection cooled and measure 153 x 66 x 358 mm. Both versions are rated for operation over a 0°C to +50°C temperature range at full load with no derating required. Wider temperature ranges are available on request. Efficiency is typically 80% at full load, depending on the input voltage required.
The inputs meet EN55022 Class A conducted and radiated requirements, with a Class B option available. Filtering on the input and output contributes to low noise. Comprehensive electronic protection includes 1700Vdc input to chassis/output isolation, inrush current limiting, reverse polarity protection and current limiting with short circuit protection. An output-fail alarm (Form C) and remote shutdown or enable are available as options. The inverters are designed to meet EN/UL60950-1, UL 458, C22.2 No. 107.1-01 and related standards. Conformal coating provides protection from moisture and airborne contaminants.
The CSI 500-FX and CSI 500F-FXW packages are designed for chassis mounting. The inverters can also be assembled on cradles with either 2Ux19 inch or 3Ux19 inch front-panels for 19" rack-mount applications.
Both series are suitable for industrial applications that require 'clean' pure sine wave AC-output such as utilities, telecom, transportation and industrial automation.
