Lithium-Ion Coin Batteries Offer High Discharge Capacity

Available in five types ranging in size from 4.8 x 1.4 mm to 12.5 x 2.1 mm and weighing from 0.06 grams to 0.8 grams is a line of rechargeable lithium-ion coin batteries that offer long life cycles and a discharge capacity said to be ten times better than comparable batteries on the market. The batteries provide nominal voltage of 3.3, internal resistance from 200 ohms to 25 ohms, standard discharge currents ranging from 0.03. 0.5, and nominal capacities ranging from 0.25 to 9.5 grams. Commercial and consumer applications include cellular phones, notebook PCs, memory cards and other handheld, portable equipment.
