Dual T1/E1 Transformer/Choke Modules Save Board Space

Oct. 1, 2000

A new family of magnetic modules for T1/E1 applications integrates an isolation transformer and common mode choke into a surface-mount package. This optimizes board layout since there is more functionality in the same amount of space required by discrete transformer-only products. The new series includes both the T1207 and T1220. The company claims that these parts provide superior common-mode filtering for EMI reduction.
Packaged in a .675" x .6" x .34" surface-mount module, the family utilizes the company's patented InterLock base ensuring reliable placement and operation of sub-components. Available in tubes or tape-and-reel, the devices are compatible with most high-speed pick-and-place equipment. Pricing is $2.50/10,000.
