GlacialLight has announced the GL-BL220-CW LED Bay Light with Philips Lumileds chips and patented wide heat dissipation for longer life. The GL-BL220-CW floods large spaces with bright natural light, but has low energy consumption and maintenance costs.
This high efficiency 434mm (17-inch) 210W bay light is a simple replacement for older, less-efficient light sources. Patented heat dissipation technologies such as the enhanced fin structure on the rear of the GL-BL220-CW not only effectively gets rid of excess heat, but also reduces overall weight.

The GL-BL220-CW's wide-angle selectable 30° or 60° beam provides bright natural daylight 6000K illumination with a Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 70. This light source accepts a wide range of power sources, from 100 volts to 277 volts AC and operates reliably in temperatures from -20°C up to 40°C, helping it cope with even the most challenging environments around the world.
Among GlacialLight's top priorities during the design process for this product was saving money for customers. The GL-BL220's long-life LEDs slash maintenance costs, with an average lifetime over 30,000 hours, at least 10 times longer than that of traditional halogen lamps. The product's LEDs are also more energy efficient than halogen and other artificial light sources, achieving very significant power savings. The GL-BL220-CW provides luminous efficiency of at least 71.4 lumens per watt to provide reduced power consumption and far less waste heat. As a result, every unit's cool-running light helps keep indoor temperatures under control, to deliver huge savings on long term air conditioning and cooling costs, compared with traditional lighting technologies.
GlacialLight has made the GL-BL220-CW fully compliant with all relevant environmental certifications, in order to protect the environment and customers. The product does not contain hazardous chemicals, such as mercury. Unlike competing products, it does not emit harmful UV or IR radiation, making it far more eco-friendly than traditional lighting fixtures and other lighting technologies. Even the packaging is recyclable.
