The PicoScope® 6000E Series fixed-resolution and FlexRes® oscilloscopes provide 8 to 12 bits of vertical resolution, with up to 1 GHz bandwidth and 5 GS/s sampling rate. Available with four or eight analog channels, these oscilloscopes are a smart solution for debugging critical signal integrity concerns such as timing errors, glitches, dropouts, crosstalk and metastability issues.

When fitted with optional 8-channel MSO pods, users can add up to 16 high-performance digital channels to facilitate accurate time-correlation of analog and digital signals involved in the development of complex IoT and embedded systems.

PicoScope 6000E Series oscilloscopes are ideal for design applications involving signal processing, power electronics, mechatronics and automotive designs, as well as for researchers and scientists working on multi-channel, high-performance experiments in physics labs, particle accelerators and similar facilities.

Offering the deepest capture memory available as standard on any oscilloscope at any price – up to 4 GS in total, these instruments can capture 200 ms waveforms at their maximum sampling rate of 5 GS/s. And their high bandwidth and sampling rate allow top end PicoScope 6000E units to display single-shot pulses with 200 ps time resolution.

PicoScope 6000E Series PC oscilloscopes also deliver the best performance in their class, with better than –50 dB harmonic distortion at 1 MHz on all models and over 60 dB SFDR (PicoScope 6824E). Their baseline noise specification is < 150 μV RMS on the most sensitive range.

To maximize return on investment, models with FlexRes flexible resolution allow users to reconfigure their hardware to accomplish multiple tasks. The same equipment can operate as a fast (5 GS/s) 8-bit oscilloscope for looking at digital signals, a 10-bit oscilloscope for general-purpose use or a high-resolution 12-bit oscilloscope for sensitive audio work and other precision analog applications.

PicoScope 6000E Series units are controlled by PicoScope 6, our PC-based oscilloscope interface with over 100,000 users worldwide. PicoScope 6 includes a number of high-end functions such as serial decoding (with 21 serial protocol decoders built in), mask limit testing, user-defined alarms, advanced math channels and more as standard features other manufacturers charge a premium to unlock.

PicoScope 6 provides some powerful presentation options as well, supporting the largest wide-screen, high-resolution monitors, dual monitors and customizable split-screen displays. This allows users to see all the detail their oscilloscope can capture and to selectively display a combination of live channels, math channels and reference waveforms, as well as views of time, frequency and digital domains.

Altogether, the PicoScope 6000E series PC oscilloscopes are smart solutions for faster high-performance electronic systems debugging.
