The TPS43000 PWM regulates buck, boost, SEPIC, and flyback topologies. Handling input from 1.8V to 9V, it controls output voltages from 0.8V to 8V. External P- and N-channel power MOSFETs are driven by the IC's fast, high-current gate drive outputs. Supply current is 1mA at 500 kHz, sleep mode consumes 100µA, and complete shutdown draws 1µA.

The 380LQ snap-in aluminum electrolytic capacitor is rated for -40°C to 85°C operation. It is 27% smaller and more than 10 mm shorter than similar capacitors. Low-Voltage Analog Switches
These low-voltage analog switches are single-pole single-throw (SPST) types available in 8-lead SOIC and 5-lead SOT-23 packages. The ISL84514 has normally open (NO) contacts and the ISL84515 has normally closed (NC). Switched Capacitor Converter
The ZXCP330E6 switched capacitor dc-dc converter provides a regulated 3.3V output from a 2V to 4.4V input with a load of 40mA (max.). Operating with a 220nF flying capacitor and 10µF bypass capacitors at the input and output, typical p. c. board requirement is 8 mm.× 5.3 mm. It consumes 20pA input in normal operation and 1pA in sleep mode. An enable pin allows logic-controlled output shutdown. It's based on a standard switched capacitor voltage doubler design.

The “O”-Core uses silicon steel strip, gradually pointed towards the end, replacing the constant width strip used in traditional toroidal transformer cores. Available in standard sizes for power ratings from 20VA to 1200VA, 50-60Hz operation, O-cores can also be customized. There is a full 15% savings over a rectangular cross section with a 1:2 side-to-height ratio, the most common core shape of toroidal power transformers. Because O-cores are more difficult to manufacture with higher scrap losses, the price will typically be 20% higher than the traditional toroidal core.

Tantalum Chip Capacitor
The organic polymer KO-CAP (T520B) offers high capacitance in a smaller footprint. Used as a drop-in replacement for a 1210 high-capacitance ceramic, it can save board space as a replacement for C- and D-sized tantalum chips. With reduced ESR (70mΩ), there is enhanced capacitance retention in higher frequencies as compared to a standard MnO2. It is offered in the “B” case size in 47µF rated at 6.3V, 68µF at 4V, and 100µF at 3V.

The S-Series line of low ESR, high Q, high frequency multilayer ceramic capacitors is made with a proprietary combination of low loss dielectric and a highly conductive electrode system. These devices combine a current sensor and transducer ideal for direct PLC interface in a single package.
