Miniature, Single Output 1-W AC-DC Power Supplies

Available immediately from MicroPower Direct, the MPM-01V series is a family of miniature, single output 1W AC/DC power supplies. These low cost modules are specifically designed to provide local/isolated power while meeting the tight space constraints of high density board level power applications.

Six standard models operate from a wide universal input of 85 to 305 VAC, providing tightly regulated outputs of 3.3, 5, 9, 12, 15, and 24 VDC. Standard features include filtering to EN55022 Class B, I/O isolation of 3k VAC, and tight line/load regulation. All models are protected for overload and short circuit faults. The MTBF (per MIL HDBK 217F) of the MPM-01V series is greater than 300 khours.

The MPM-01V has a Class II input (IEC 61140). This means it can be used without an earth ground connection. All models are approved to EN 60950 and are certified to CE. They are RoHS compliant.

The MPM-01V series is packaged in a miniature PCB mount case measuring only 1.32 x 0.87 x 0.7 inches. Each model is specified for operation over the wide operating temperature range of -25°C to +70°C (ambient).

The MPM-01V series is an ideal solution for a wide variety of space critical board level applications in industrial & commercial equipment applications requiring high performance, miniature size and low cost. With its Class II input, the MPM-01V series is a good choice for remote or portable equipment where a reliable ground is often not available.

All MicroPower Direct products are designed to provide long, reliable field life. Considerable attention is given to the proper selection, derating, and layout of all circuit components. In addition, extensive reliability screening is also performed on all products as a routine part of our production process.
