The ML series of open-frame dc/dc converters provide efficient, non-isolated power conversion in power-distributed architecture designs. Reportedly, they allow designers to exploit the transmission characteristics of a higher bus voltage, thereby lowering I2R losses, while maintaining multiple low-voltage, high-current sources at points of use. Features include output currents up to 5A, input/output voltages from 3V to 5.5V and 0.75V to 3.63V, respectively, efficiencies up to 94%, and line/load regulations of ±0.3% and ±0.4%, respectively.
