Targeting applications involving high data rates, high bandwidth or high frequencies, the UCBBJR256-N is an insulated, 75 ohms, pc board-mount, right-angle bulkhead BNC jack whose compact design enables a 40% increase in connector density. The jack's bulkhead feature allows the torque related to the BNC coupling mechanism to be transferred to a panel front in lieu of the pc board, helping ensure the integrity of the interconnect. The new BNC jack is available in both nickel- and gold-plated versions and also features, among other things, fully enclosed BeCu spring fingers and positive tactile feedback upon engaging with the PTFE dielectric. Price is $5.74 each/1,000. TROMPETER ELECTRONICS, Westlake Village, CA. (800) 982-2629.
