SynQor opened a new sales office in Shanghai, China, on July 1, 2005. The local office will provide sales, product marketing, customer service and field application support. More importantly, the SynQor office will lead to more efficient communication channels and quicker response times to the company’s fast-growing list of customers located in the northern and eastern regions of China. SynQor’s presence in Shanghai will allow it to make sure its business model and product development direction are more closely aligned with the region’s requirements and expectations.
With the addition of the Shanghai office, SynQor now has a total of five offices in the Asia Pacific region. The other SynQor sales offices are located in Shenzhen, China; Seoul, South Korea; Tokyo, Japan; and Singapore (Asia Pacific headquarters).

Since opening the office in Shenzhen, China, in 2003, SynQor has seen its China power business grow significantly and sees even more potential to expand its market share. SynQor’s customer base in China continues to grow in terms of number of customers as well number of applications. Market segments include many platforms within telecom such as such high-end Ethernet switchers and routers, DSL, and wireless networks.
