Ultrasmall Gate Drivers
Dual-channel LM5111 and single-channel LM5112 gate drivers are for driving large power MOSFETs used in ac-dc and dc-dc converters, motor drives and industrial control systems. The LM5112 comes in a 3-mm × 3-mm LLP-6 package and enables the design of high-performance dc-dc converters. The LM5112 operates at high speeds with minimal delay and high peak output currents.

The WA includes a 2-pole, primary fuse holder for Class “CC” fuses. A secondary fuse holder accepts a type 3AG or equivalent glass fuse. The WB uses the same primary fuse holder.

Low-Profile SMT Inductors
The IHLP family of low-profile SMT inductors has been expanded to include inductance values of 5.6 µH, 6.8 μH, 8.2 μH and 10 μH, each with a ±20% tolerance. These inductors feature typical DCR values as low as 0.47 mΩ, saturation currents from 15.5 A to 120 A, and low losses at frequencies up to 5 MHz. Inductors come in 0.508-in. × 0.520-in. × 0.256-in. self-shielded packages.

The SWS family of power supplies now includes 300-W and 600-W versions. The SWS300 and SWS600 Series each accept a wide range of input voltages from 85 Vac to 265 Vac and contain active PFC (power factor correction) circuitry to meet EN61000-3-2 standards. The units are available with either 5-V, 24-V or 48-V outputs and currents up to 120 A.

24-V input eighth-bricks and quarter-bricks have been added to the Typhoon family of board-mounted dc-dc converters. The new product series initially comprises two 20-A eighth bricks and two 30-A quarter bricks, offering single isolated outputs of 1.8 V and 3.3 V. The 24-V input Typhoon brick converters are primarily intended for 27-V wireless base stations, space-critical telecom applications and general 24-V industrial electronics systems. The converters' nominal 24-V input accommodates any voltage in the range 18 V to 36 V, making them suitable for distributed power architecture (DPA) systems with either 24-Vdc or 28-Vdc power distribution buses.
AC-DC Power Supply
The MPU200-1048 ac-dc power supply provides a 4.2-A, 48-Vdc output. The 200-W product has a field MTBF in excess of 1 million hours, based on data compiled from an installed base of over 500,000 similar MPU-Series products, making it an ideal high-reliability power source for telecom, datacom, medical, and industrial applications. Standard features include Power Factor Correction (PFC), 85-Vac to 264-Vac input range, and active current sharing with N+1 redundancy. An internal isolation diode is optional.
The FMG2G50US120 and FMG2G75US120 are 1200-V, 50-A- and 75-A rated IGBT modules. With optimized on-state loss (VCE(sat)) vs. turn-off switching loss (Eoff), they provide low overall power loss in welding machines, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and general inverters in the 10-kHz to 30-kHz operating frequency range.
